Club Premier became Aeromexico Rewards on April 10, 2023. Existing members and balances moved into the renamed program. Use its current name when checking your account or looking for support.
Best suited for: Travelers planning Aeromexico flights or eligible SkyTeam itineraries who want to keep a points balance between trips.
Airline: Aeromexico (AM). Alliance: SkyTeam
Do these points or miles expire?
Aeromexico's current consumer materials state that Aeromexico Rewards points do not expire. The former 24-month inactivity description is no longer the current published policy.
Which credit-card points transfer here?
- Membership Rewards: A direct U.S. Membership Rewards transfer partner. Eligibility, minimums, increments and ratios vary; checking-only accounts have limited partner options. Review the live quote and applicable transfer fees. Official transfer rules
- Capital One miles: Aeromexico Rewards is a direct transfer partner. Minimum 1,000 Capital One miles; account names must match. Transfers cannot be reversed. Confirm the live conversion ratio. Official transfer rules
- Citi ThankYou Rewards: Aeromexico Rewards is listed as a direct transfer partner. Eligibility and conversion rates depend on the card and program; check your account before transferring. Official transfer rules
Selected U.S. card-program transfers. Product eligibility and account terms apply; this is not an exhaustive global list. A card transfer and booking a partner flight are separate actions. Check the award first and confirm the final ratio and any fee in your issuer account.
Which partner airlines can I book?
- Delta Air Lines
- Air France
- KLM
These are selected award partners. Classic awards and dynamic-fare awards have different availability and fare rules; the dynamic option lists Aeromexico, Delta, Air France and KLM. A codeshare does not by itself confirm an award seat.
Ways to earn
- Earn on qualifying Aeromexico and participating SkyTeam flights; attach your own program number and check the flight's earning terms.
- Participating credit cards and travel partners can add points. Hertz lists rewards for qualifying rentals; issuer transfers are shown above.
Ways to redeem
- Use points for eligible flights and upgrades. Classic awards have controlled availability; dynamic-fare awards vary with itinerary and demand.
- The airline also lists redemptions for baggage and seats. Check the specific offer and fare conditions rather than assuming every ancillary is covered.
Important restrictions before booking
- Award issuance and changes can carry service fees, and the fare family can restrict changes or refunds. Check the final cash total before transferring points.
- Do not assume an award includes a checked bag: the award page specifies route and fare exceptions.
- Credit-card welcome offers, benefit amounts and family-pooling claims from the old article are excluded because they were not confirmed for the current consumer program.
Current elite-program overview
Current consumer materials include Silver in addition to Gold, Platinum and Titanium. Silver is published at 25,000 qualifying points from eligible Aeromexico, Delta or SkyTeam flights in a calendar year; do not count a bank-point transfer toward this flight qualification. Consult each level's terms for baggage, seat and upgrade eligibility.
Platinum benefits require the level's terms
The Platinum page lists an 80,000 qualifying-flight-point threshold, lounge access and selected companion benefits. These are status benefits, not a promise that a general credit card or any award booking includes lounge access.
