KrisFlyer is Singapore Airlines' rewards program, with earning and redemption on Singapore Airlines, Scoot and eligible partners. Redeemable miles, Elite miles and PPS qualification are different measures.

Do these points or miles expire?
For Basic, Elite Silver and Elite Gold members, ordinary KrisFlyer miles expire at the end of the earning month three years later, at 23:59 Singapore time. New activity does not reset that age-based deadline. Contest miles can expire after one year. PPS Club members' valid miles generally do not expire while PPS membership continues, subject to promotion exceptions.
Which credit-card points transfer here?
- Ultimate Rewards: A direct Chase transfer partner. Requires an eligible transfer-enabled card such as Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve or Ink Business Preferred. These are selected award options, not a complete earning roster. JetBlue's relationship is not evidence of a KrisFlyer award on JetBlue. Singapore Airlines ended its Alaska frequent-flyer partnership; new Alaska flights from January 1, 2026 do not earn KrisFlyer miles.

- Earn on eligible Singapore Airlines, Scoot and partner fares; earning depends on the carrier and booking class.
- Eligible bank transfers and participating non-airline partners add redeemable miles. Kris+, KrisShop and Pelago have separate earning and Elite qualification rules.
Ways to redeem
- Redeem for available Singapore Airlines awards and eligible upgrades, or applicable Scoot redemptions. Full awards and mixing miles with cash are different payment options.
- Star Alliance and other selected partner awards depend on availability and the applicable award chart. Some partner bookings require KrisFlyer Membership Services.
- Other redemption channels include KrisShop, Kris+ and selected travel partners. Review their conversion terms before using miles.
Important restrictions before booking
- Do not transfer miles speculatively: transfers do not reserve a seat or remove the three-year deadline.
- Award changes, cancellations, no-shows and selected offline services can carry separate fees. A partially used partner ticket cannot be changed under the published service-fee rules.
- Expiring miles may be extended once for a fee: six months for Basic members or 12 months for Elite Silver/Gold. Already expired miles cannot be extended.
Family arrangements are limited
KrisFlyer for Families allows eligible child-to-parent mileage transfers under limits and fees; it is not general pooling between adult accounts. You can also nominate up to five redemption travelers, but replacement restrictions, fees and the 72-hour departure rule apply to new nominees.
Elite Silver, Elite Gold and PPS Club
Elite Silver requires 25,000 Elite miles and Elite Gold 50,000 within 12 consecutive months. Selected Singapore Airlines Group spending on the ground can contribute up to 20% of the requirement. Card-point transfers are redeemable miles, not an automatic route to Elite status. PPS Club is a separate qualification structure; its mileage-expiration exception does not apply merely because you are Elite Gold.
